Pancake Lasagna


Pancake Climbing Ingredients

The basis

  1. Pancakes 10 pieces

Filling

  1. Fresh champignons 400 grams
  2. Ground beef 400 grams
  3. Onion 1 piece
  4. 2 cloves of garlic
  5. Grated cheese 200 grams
  6. Olive oil 2-3 tablespoons
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Pepper to taste

Bechamel sauce

  1. Butter 1 tablespoon
  2. Olive oil 1 teaspoon
  3. Wheat flour 1 tablespoon
  4. Milk 100 milliliters
  5. Egg yolk 1 piece
  • Main ingredients: Beef, Onions, Mushrooms, Milk, Cheese, Flour
  • Serving 4-6

Inventory:

Frying pan - 2 pieces, a spatula, a kitchen knife, a cutting board, a baking dish, hot pot holders, a tablespoon, a stewpan, a wooden spoon / spatula.

Preparation of pancake climbing:

Step 1: prepare the stuffing.


Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan and put ground beef in it. Add salt and ground pepper to taste. Smashing with a spatula and stirring all the time, cook the meat over medium heat for 15 minutes.

Step 2: prepare the mushrooms and onions.


In another pan, heat olive oil in the same way. Then put in it the mushrooms, washed and cut into small pieces, as well as peeled onions and crumbled into small cubes. Salt, pepper, add chopped garlic and fry over medium heat until soft.

Step 3: prepare the bechamel sauce.


Put butter in a stewpan and pour olive oil over it. Put everything on fire and melt, mixing the oils together.

Now add the wheat flour and sauté all together, stirring until the flour is golden brown.

Gradually add milk to the sauce, stirring it well so that no lumps or clots form.

Then continue to cook the bechamel sauce over low heat until it thickens. Do not forget to mix all the time, so, firstly, you will get a uniform sauce, and secondly, you will not watch the moment when the mass begins to thicken.
Remove the finished sauce from the heat and add the egg yolk and salt to it. Mix well.

Step 4: collect pancake lasagna.


Take a baking dish or a suitable baking sheet. Form your pancake lasagna, alternating layers of mushrooms or minced meat with pancakes. At the same time, if you have thin pancakes, then put them two between the layers, and if the pancakes are thick, then one is enough.
Divide the formed lasagna with a sharp knife into 4-6 equal pieces and slightly move them apart.

Top with lasagna with freshly prepared bechamel sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Step 5: bake pancake lasagna.


You need to bake pancake lasagna in preheated 200 degrees oven for 25-30 minutes. The cheese on top during this time will melt and cover your lasagna with a golden brown crust, and ground beef and mushrooms will be finally cooked.
Hot pancake lasagna should be taken out of the oven and served immediately.

Step 6: serve the pancake lasagna.


Serve pancake lasagna as the main hot dish. In my opinion, you don’t need either a side dish or anything else. You can, perhaps, add a little sour cream or tomato sauce. It turns out very tasty, especially this dish will be in the nearest Pancake week.

Recipe Tips:

- For juiciness, mix minced meat with tomato paste or chopped tomatoes.
